Micro Finish

2–3 ultra-thin coats, hand-troweled and polished — a close representation of
polished concrete.

Using Elite Crete Systems Micro-Finish and a steel concrete trowel, we apply 2 to 3 very thin coatings, sanding between each coat and polishing the final layer. The result is a very smooth, modern floor with rustic variations in color and a sense of depth unlike any other interior finish.

Coloring Options

Variable Integral Coloring — different shades mixed into each coating layer
Acid Staining — multiple coats of acidic concrete stains applied after cure
Antique Staining — Antique Staining Base with multiple pigment colors

Stained Concrete

Permanent, translucent color that reacts with the
concrete’s chemistry.

Acid staining reacts with the calcium in the slab — producing warm earth tones (browns, tans, blue- greens) that develop organically. No two acid-stained floors look alike. Antique Staining Base with pigments produces richer, layered color with more controlled variation.

Polished Concrete

Diamond-ground and progressively polished — matte to mirror finish.

No wax or topcoat required to maintain. Sheen ranges from a satin to a high-gloss mirror finish. Preferred in commercial retail and hospitality for longevity and the lowest lifetime maintenance cost of any floor type.

Self Leveling Concrete

Underlayment and Topping systems — perfectly flat,
polymer-modified cement.

Self Leveling Concrete is a polymer-modified cement with high flow characteristics — creating flat, smooth surfaces with compressive strength equal to or greater than traditional concrete. We install two types:

Two Systems

UNDERLAYMENT — Poured over existing subfloor to correct surface irregularities before new floor installation. Engineered vinyl, large-format tile, and newer floor coverings increasingly require a perfectly flat substrate.
TOPPING — The finished floor itself, requiring no floor covering. Applications include warehouse floors, light industrial, retail stores, and institutional facilities. Can receive pigmented dye, stains, saw cuts, or mechanical polishing for a decorative finish.

Epoxy Systems

Flake, NEAT, and Quartz — also available for interior spaces.

All DCE epoxy systems work exceptionally well for basement floors, utility rooms, home gyms, and laundry areas where durability is the priority.

Moisture Testing

Elevated vapor transmission causes adhesion failure. We test every interior slab.

Radiant Heat

Heated slab systems require specific product compatibility verification.

Expansion Joints

Honored through the overlay system to prevent cracking.

Existing Coatings

Old adhesive, paint, and previous coatings must be mechanically removed first.

Bond Coat

One to two coats of Elite Crete Systems Thin-Finish are applied as a bonding layer to the prepared concrete before any decorative system begins.
